Ok, finally it's time to break the exciting news, Against The Wheel are back and bring with them their new drummer supremo! Please stand and give a warm and radient applause to Mr. Kelvin Hayward, the new master of sticks and rhythms!

We've been away from you for a quite a while now but rest assured behind the scenes we've been loudly beavering away getting back up to gig speed and are now pretty much all set for our return debut. Yep, we're providing the opening soundtrack to the Darkteaser Burlesque Show at the Vic Bikers Bar in Leicester on Friday 4th of March!

We'll be firing around some more details and invites to that gig over on facebook so be sure to check them out.

Rest assured though ATW are back and bolder than ever, I think you are gonna love the new us and I'm looking forward to seeing you all soon!

The Wheel Keeps Turning

There have been a few twists and turns in the ATW story of late, and due to situations, commitments and general hard work we've had to keep a lock down on announcements until the timing was right, so without further ado, here is the lowdown . Let's start with the sad news:

Andy Watson has left the band.

A few weeks ago, Andy made it clear to us that his future was not aligned with ATW, it was a sad day and a hard decision, but it was a respectful one. Over the past couple of years Andy has given it all to the band and certainly brought a fresh and exciting perspective to the music, but unfortunately, sometimes the future you see is not always the one you want, and Andy decided it was time for him to pursue other projects. So we'd just like to take a moment to say thanks, and all the best for those future endeavours. We're certainly looking forward to hearing the new fruits. Good luck man.

Against The Wheel

A review has popped up of Saturdays Actress & Bishop show from the good folks at Joe's Big Toe(which is a music blog you should frequent as it's very nice sir!) and here's an excerpt:
